DENT HARDWARE CAST IRON “LINDY” TRI-MOTOR.

Original Dent planes are very uncommon to find as they were only made for a very short period of time, less than 5 years. This particular plane/style was made either as a Lindy, Air Express, or Question Mark. More than likely, this plane was never in production as Dent Hardware did not have the rights to use the term “Lindy”, instead they changed the name to “Lucky Boy”. A great overall look, this tri-motor plane is impressive in appearance, however paint seems to be of more recent vintage. SIZE: Approx 12-1/2″ wing span. CONDITION: As stated above, possible second casting?. 1-14554 (750-1,250) – Lot 1423
