*◊ BEAUTIFUL “RED 9” 1917 DWM ARTILLERY LUGER.

SN 3507c. Cal. 9mm. 8″ bbl with fine tune adjustable front and rear sights, with full SN on bottom. 1917 date above chamber. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. Imperial proofs on right receiver. Unnumbered checkered walnut grips with large “9” burned into checkering (indicates 9mm cartridge). Numbers on gun are matching, including wood bottom mag with matching numbers that appear to have been added by WWI era armorer. With an orig 1906 era cleaning rod/oiler. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% orig blue and straw with light normal wear. Grips are sharp and retain orig color. Bore is bright and sharp. Mag shows little use. Mechanics are excellent. Cleaning rod/oiler has very little wear. 49829-54 BWS (3,000-4,500) C&R – Lot 1422
