NEARLY NEW ASSEMBLED SHARPS MODEL 1859 RIFLE. SN. 57740. Cal. .52, 30″ bbl. Long after the war, this gun was reassembled using Model 1863 bbl No. C, 39413 and new wood. This wood has inspector marks but no cartouches indicating that they were made as replacement parts. CONDITION: Appears to be unfired and only slight marks appear on the gun, mostly from removing the bbl bands. Case-hardening is brilliant and there are no dents or mars in the wood. 4-47531 FS830 (3,000-6,000)
