HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.

Handel lamp has reverse painted stylized floral design surrounding top of shade with brightly colored flowers, yellow stems all in white outline with turquoise dots. design is set against black background. Shade is finished with wide band around edge with leaf and scroll design against multi-colored polka dot background. Signed on interior of shade “Handel 6837”. Shade rests on original Handel base with square foot and bulbous body with vertical paneling. Tapered riser leads to 3-socket cluster with acorn pulls. Base is finished with pierced fleur-de-lis cap. Signed on side of foot with impressed block letters “Handel” as well as signed on bottom with applied cloth tag “Handel Lamps”. SIZE: Shade is 17-7/8″ dia. Lamp is 23″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good to excellent with some very minor blistering to finish. 50503-1 (4,500-5,500) – Lot 1421
