SHARPS MODEL 1874 MILITARY RIFLE. SN is covered by the correct tang peep sight. Cal. .44-90BN, 30-1/4″ bbl. Standard marks on bbl and receiver. CONDITION: Fine with 80% of the blue on the bbl mixed with patches. Traces of case-hardening color are on the lockplate, stronger on the left side of the receiver and almost gone on the lever and buttplate again mixed with patches of moderate surface rust and pitting. Wood is sharp with little sign of use. Trigger plate has been modified from the military style by plugging the lever catch hole. FS861 4-47499 (2,500-4,500)
