CONVERTED SHARPS CIVIL WAR CARBINE. SN 64126. Cal. .50-70, 22″ bbl. All marks on the bbl were removed during conversion. Marks on the receiver are partially gone, but those on the lock remain clear. Internal primer parts have been removed. Good “DFC” cartouche in the middle of the stock. CONDITION: 50% blue mixed with surface rust and dried grease on the bbl. Gray-brown patina with traces of case-hardening on remaining parts. Wood has been varnished but is still good. FS866 4-47503 (2,250-2,750)
