RARE RED HUBLEY LINDY CAST IRON AIRPLANE WITH GEARED REAR WHEEL.

Normally this airplane is found in a robins egg blue or gray and to the best of our knowledge this is the only red Lindy known to exist. It has a ribbed fuselage with nickel plated wheels and the rear tail fin wheel is geared so that when the toy is pushed along the floor the propeller spins. SIZE: Wingspan approx 10″. CONDITION: Overall paint is very good plus however a previous owner decided to enhance paint on wing as it had heavier chipping so unfortunately wing appears to have been repainted to match condition of the rest of the plane. 8-76381 (900-1,200) – Lot 1414
