TIFFANY STUDIOS JEWELED DOGWOOD SHADE ON QUEEN ANNE’S LACE BASE.

Leaded glass shade is done in the rare jeweled dogwood pattern with mottled white dogwood flowers, some of which have green and white cabochon jewels in the center. The dogwood flowers are surrounded by striated green and blue leaves, all against a striated blue and brown background. The shade is further decorated with blue, green, white and opalescent jewels around the aperture. Shade signed with small applied tag on lower rim “Tiffany Studios New York”. Shade rests on a scarce Tiffany Studios cast bronze base with ribbed sides and Queen Anne’s lace pattern adorning the waist as well as the top of the font. Base is complete with a four arm spider supporting the shade ring. Base is finished with a brown patina and green highlights, while the top of the font is finished with a reddish brown patina, complete with Tiffany heat cap. Signed on underside of font with applied round tag “Tiffany Studios New York 27476”, along with the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Co. logo, base is also signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 27476″ along with the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Co. logo. SIZE: Shade 16″ dia. Lamp 18-1/2” t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some tight hairlines and no missing glass.
