*FINE CONDITION C96 BROOMHANDLE WITH STOCK.

SN 172827. Cal. 7.65 Early wartime commercial manufactured with 5-1/2″ bbl. 3-line Mauser address on top of chamber with SN “172827” on left bbl flat with crown/crown/U proof on left side of chamber. Manufactured 1915. Has fire blue trigger, safety, sight slide, bolt stop and short extractor. Has small British nitro proof on frame above left grip as well as on top of bolt at rear. Matching numbers throughout after detailed disassembly with the exception of unnumbered follower. Accompanied with period holster stock with non-matching SN. CONDITION: Fine overall, with excellent bore and mechanics. Far better than most broomhandles currently offered for sale. Stock is very fine with no cracks or serious distress, just slight bruising and scuffs which appear to be period. 51015-8 TDW (2,500-3,500) C&R – Lot 1411
