*◊ MAUSER C96, EARLY M1930 COMMERCIAL, WITH UNMARKED STOCK, LEATHER CARRIER, SPARE PARTS.

SN 863706. Cal. 7.63MM. Standard configuration M1930 Commercial with 5-1/4″ bbl having fixed front sight and slip-in 50-1000 rear sight. Short extractor and universal safety. Usual chamber markings with serial number applied to the left side of the bbl extension. Left frame with large Mauser Banner. 3-line address on right side of frame. Broadly serrated walnut panels. No lanyard ring. All major and several minor parts salt blued. Fire blued extractor, bolt stock, trigger and grip screw. Accompanied by an Early Post war stock, fire blued hinge with no lanyard loop, that would usually accompany a French Gendarme. Lid is lightly marked “Made in Germany” and un-numbered lug with round shoulders. Dark leather carrier whose inner surface is marked “AWM/15”. Accompanied by spare spring, extractor, cursor, and stripper clip (no ammo). PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Approximately 95% bright salt blue with expected wear from being carried inside the stock and thinning of the front strap from handling. Comparable condition grips. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Very good stock excepting 3.5″ crack that extends down from the hinge. Supple leather carrier with no suggestion of replacement or restitching.
