HANDEL SCENIC TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has domed shade with reverse painted scene of willow trees and meadows with stream running through. All against striated lavender and cream sky. Exterior is finished in chipped ice. Signed on interior rim “Handel 6754”. Shade rests on an original Handel base with round footed platform and slightly flaring cylindrical body with three applied decorative handles. Body supports vertically ribbed riser with three socket cluster and pierced cap. Finished in dark brown patina. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 24-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some minor roughness to bottom rim. Base is very good with some minor wear and blistering to finish. Re-wired with contemporary plastic cord. 50449-8 (5,000-7,000) – Lot 1407
