HANDEL DAFFODIL TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has dome shade with reverse painted decoration of bright yellow daffodils with shaded green spiked leaves and small white and pink flowers within leaves. Daffodils are set against black and gray shadowy leaves all against rich green background. Signed on interior rim “Handel 7129” and artist initials “F.R.” Shade rests on an original Handel base with bulbous body decorated with cast forest of trees surrounding body, giving way to vertically ribbed stem with three socket cluster and pierced fleur-de-lis heat cap. Base is finished with rich brown patina and signed on underside with raised block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 22-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good, paint is beginning to oxidize on interior. Base is very good to excellent, replacement threaded crossbar has been added to underside of base to accommodate threaded rod holding base parts together.
