*◊ MAUSER C96 EARLY MODEL 1930, CHINESE CHARACTERS, WITH CORRECT STOCK.SN 868207. Cal. 7.63. Standard configuration early M1930 commercial with 5-1/4″ bbl, fixed front sight, and slip-in 50-1000 rear sight. Mauser address on top of chamber with “C/C/U” on left chamber flat. Full serial number on left side of bbl extension. Left side of frame with 3 Chinese characters that translate “Made in Germany”. Large Mauser banner on left rear panel. Three line address on right rear frame. Fitted with broadly serrated wooden panels secured by transverse screw having enlarged head. Lanyard ring present. Correct Mauser Banner stock with unnumbered lug having squared shoulder. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Approximately 98% re-dipped blue with orig finish extractor and freshly sand-blasted hammer. Excellent grips that have been lightly cleaned. Bright bore with sharp rifling.
