Handel table lamp has reversed painted dome shade with Venetian harbor scene, showing sailboats in the harbor with Venice in the background all against a cloudy sky with calm waters. Exterior of the shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on the interior edge “Handel 6757” and artist initial “R”. Shade rests on a Handel base with round foot and body and three applied “S” shaped handles. Base has three socket cluster, fleur-de-lis cap and a rich brown finish. Signed with a affixed “Handel” plate on the interior edge of foot. SIZE: Shade 17-3/4″ dia. Lamp 23-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
