14kt yellow gold lady’s ring centered by a blue Ceylon sapphire weighing approx. 21cts. The sapphire is cushion cut with a modified brilliant cut crown and a step cut pavilion. Stone measures 17.78 x 15.79 x 7.19mm and is surrounded by 22 Old European cut diamonds each measuring approx. 3.0mm. Total approx weight is approx. 2.64cttw. The tapered prong set sapphire is surrounded by tulip set diamonds with engraving details on the basket and shank. Stamped “14k”. Ring is accompanied by a GIA Report No. 2165463736 for the sapphire. Report states it is a natural sapphire most likely from Ceylon and shows no indication of heating. SIZE: 7. PROVENANCE: From a private New Jersey Collection.
