*INCREDIBLE FACTORY ENGRAVED PRE-PRODUCTION KIMBER OF OREGON M-89 BGR.

SN BGRX 375-1. Cal. .375 H&H. 24-3/4″ bbl. 1/3″ length matted rib with ramp rear sight and blade front sight. Breech end of bbl marked “.375 H&H” and center of bbl marked “KIMBER OF OREGON, INC. CLACKAMUS, OREGON U.S.A.” in script. Double reinforced through bolt stock. Capped pistol grip buttstock, checkered in 2-pt pattern with cheekpiece and 13-3/4″ LOP over Kimber red pad. Gun is set up for sling swivels with Howell mounts present. Forearm with ebony tip checkered in 4-pt pattern. Receiver is beautifully and finely engraved and marked “E.L. PETERS ENGR. / FEGA” under bolt. Breech end of bbl nicely scroll engraved with a well executed bust of scroll. Floor plate is beautifully engraved in scroll with gold inlaid lion in great detail. Trigger guard is nicely scroll engraved as is pistol grip cap with perfectly fitted opener. Bolt is beautifully scroll engraved and checkered in a fine pattern with floral bust at end. This gun is a pre-production executive’s model likely made to show Kimber investors what the product team was working on. WEIGHT: 9 lbs. 12 oz. Accompanied by an extra stock of fine claro walnut. PROVENANCE: William Henkel Collection. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, near new. May have been test fired but remains in extraordinarily fine condition overall with just a couple of minute handling marks. Extra stock is excellent and near new.
