CASED COLT ROOT REVOLVER. SN10534, matching on frame and cylinder. The number on the bottom of the bbl only has the first three digits visible. Cal. .31. 3-1/2″ round bbl, 2-line New York address on top of bbl with stagecoach scene on cylinder. In the mahogany case with double-sided “E. PLURIBUS UNUM” flask, iron bullet mold in wrong cal. and army size screw driver/nipple wrench. CONDITION: 75% bright blue on frame, faint traces of case hardening colors on hammer and loading lever. Cylinder is brown with two worn streaks around the middle. Grips are worn flat at the high spots at the bottom with chips at the rear. 4-46839 FS4 (2,500-3,500)
