*HIGH CONDITION REMINGTON 1894 A GRADE.

SN 119064. 12 Ga. 30″ Damascus bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choke: MOD/IMP MOD. Full length matted rib with steel front bead marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO ILION NY USA” hidden by matting. Double triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Full pistol grip stock with 14-1/8″ LOP over Remington Arms Co hard rubber monogrammed and checkered butt. Splinter forearm with Curtis release with 3-point checkering. Buttstock with classic 2-point checkering. Unengraved receiver with “REMINGTON ARMS CO” stamped on both right and left sides. Weight: 7 lb 4 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. “Andy” Anderson. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain nearly all of their dark contrast Damascus pattern with a couple of light pings. Receiver retains 80-85% bright orig case color, starting to tone on bottom of frame and high points. Trigger guard bow retains hints of orig case color, tang having turned silver. Forearm iron with traces of orig case color. Buttstock and forearm retain 95% orig varnish with scattered handling marks and scratches. Forearm with minor chip on left side and small dent in checkering on right side, otherwise checkering is strong and sharp throughout. Mechanics are excellent.
