Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre octagonal bowl is decorated on the exterior in the Woodland Elves VI pattern with fairies playing among the trees against a midnight sky background. The interior of the bowl is decorated in the Ship & Mermaid pattern depicting large sailing ships, castles and mermaids framed by pillars and lattice. Signed on the underside with gold Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and “Z4968”. The bowl also carries an Issod Collection sticker #180. SIZE: 8-1/2″ dia. PROVENANCE: Betty Issod Collection. CONDITION: There is a small flaw in the glaze on the bottom interior of the bowl. Otherwise very good to excellent. 18655-11 (8,500-9,500) – Lot 1375
