Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with country scene of lush trees and meadows with a small stream flowing between. Shade is finished on the exterior in chipped ice, signed on interior edge “Handel 6440”. Shade rests on an original Handel art nouveau base with stylized leaf design, three socket cluster and fleur-de-lis cap. Signed on the underside with impressed block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp 25″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base has wear and discoloration to patina. Original cloth cord is beginning to fray. 51169-1 (3,000-5,000) – Lot 1367
