HANDEL CHRYSANTHEMUM TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has dome shaped shade with reverse painted Chrysanthemums in orange, lavender, white and purple against a shaded amber, blue and yellow background. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on interior rim with artist signature “A. Parlow”. Shade rests on a water carrier base. The figural base depicts a kneeling woman with water jug on her shoulder. Base has a vertically ribbed riser leading to three socket cluster and square cut-out cap with rich brown finish. Signed on side in impressed block letters “Handel” as well as signed with an applied cloth tag on the bottom “Handel Lamps”. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good to excellent with some minor wear and discoloration to patina, one socket is a modern replacement.
