Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with brightly colored “Birds of Paradise” flying among foliage and berries all against a black background. Exterior is finished in chipped ice. Signed on inside rim “Handel 7026” and artist initials “P.L.” Shade rests on an original Handel tripod base with round pedestal foot and simple riser leading to three socket cluster and fleur-de-lis heat cap with rich brown finish. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade 17-7/8″ dia. Lamp 25-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with some minor wear and discoloration to finish as well as some minor blistering.
