*SCARCE WESTLEY RICHARDS SCALLOPED ACTION DROPLOCK 12 GA SHOTGUN.SN 16081. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ Damascus bbls. 2-1/2″ chambers. Full length Damascus top rib with tiny gold (?) front bead which is attached to top keel. Rib marked “Gunmaker by special appointment to his majesty, King Edward VII” and with maker name and address. SST, auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with brass oval and 15″ LOP from rear position sgl trigger over hardening red Silver’s type pad. Splinter forearm with Deely release and horn tip checkered in two-point pattern. Scalloped boxlock action is near full coverage scroll engraved, and marked on sides in flowing banner surrounded by scroll “Westley Richards”. Top of action marked “Westley Richards/ Ejector”. Trigger plate is full coverage scroll engraved. Trigger guard bow with large rabbit, trigger selector with L & R in gold and “Safe” in front of safety, also in gold. Bore diameter: Right .739, Left .737. Bore restriction: Right bbl .008(Imp Cyl), Left bbl .018 (Mod). Wall thickness: Right bbl .024 , Left bbl .024. Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain 95% restored Damascus pattern. Buttstock and forearm are excellent as restored. Buttstock with old repair through the wrist, checkering recut. Receiver has toned to grey though generally very good overall with some minor thinning to engraving. Bores are very good with scattered beginning pits. Trigger works. Mechanics are very good.
