Handle table lamp has reverse painted cone shaped shade with bright orange, yellow and maroon poppies surrounding the shade with subtle foliage and poppy buds in the background against a light blue sky. The shade is further decorated with two colorful butterflies hovering over the flowers. Exterior of shade is finished in a subtle chipped ice. Signed on the interior edge “Handel 7816”. Shade rests on an original Handel Water Bearer base which depicts a kneeling woman with a water jug on her shoulder supporting the vertically ribbed riser, three socket cluster and square cut out cap with rich brown finish having green highlights. Signed on the side with impressed block letters “Handel” also marked on the underside with applied cloth tag. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp 24″ t.
