Handel floor lamp has dome shaped shade with reverse painted “Treasure Island” design depicting a night time scene with a ship at anchor beneath a full moon with palm trees surrounding the rest of the shade. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Shade is signed on interior rim “Handel 6574” with artist initial “P”. Shade is housed in an original Handel floor base with simple round stepped foot, undecorated stem terminating in a harp top with single socket shade holder with rich brown finish having green highlights. Signed on the underside with applied cloth tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 10″ dia. Lamp 57″ t.
