Please Note: This lot consists of three guns described as antique. Please Note: SN 215137 IS MODERN. THREE ANTIQUE COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVERS.SN 24828, 215137, 139380. Cal. 45LC/32/44. 1) Colt period modified Sheriff’s model type revolver. 2″ bbl. Six shot rebated cyl. 2-piece walnut grips. SN stamped on trigger guard and bottom of frame. Assembly number on loading gate, no other markings present. Top of bbl with remnants of sight. Colt Factory letter with information on this SN, confirming cal and shipment to Spies, Kissam & Co., 10/9/1876, with bbl length, finish, and stocks “Not Listed”. 2) Colt SAA, 4-3/4″ bbl, with front blade sight, marked on left side “32 W.C.F.” Six shot rebated cyl. Ejector housing on right side of bbl. 2-piece hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt on top and American Eagle with Snake on bottom. 3) Colt SAA, 7-1/2″ bbl, front blade sight. Ejector housing on right side of bbl. Six shot rebated cyl. 2-piece replacement hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt on top. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: 1) Fair as period modified and made into a Sheriff’s model. All metal parts are brown with light to moderate surface erosion and wear. Grips appear to modified and worn with rounding and handling marks and are likely replacements, grips are loose. Mechanics are good. Bore with wear though does not appear to be pitted. 2) Very good as refurbished. Retains most of its refurbished finish to metal parts with light wear. Grips are fair though original with heavy wear from handling. Mechanics are good. Bore is fair. 3) Good as refurbished. There is minor pin prick pitting and corrosion under new blue scattered throughout. Grips are slightly over-sized. Mechanics are good.
