Oil on canvas, 1911 Housed in a period molded giltwood frame Signed and dated lower right “J.B. Bordon ..911″ Note: John Batista Bordon was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1882. He studied for several years at the National School of Fine Arts in Enba. In 1915, he was awarded a grant by the National Salon of Fine Arts to study abroad in Madrid, Spain, where, tragically, he died two years later. SIZE: 27-1/4″ x 46”.
