PAIRPOINT REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.

Pairpoint table lamp features Pompeii shade with Dutch scene on each end, one showing windmills and town buildings other shows boats in harbor with steeple in the distance. Remaining sides are decorated with vertical tapestry patterns, top has center cartouche of red flowers against tapestry background. Unsigned. Shade rests on original Pairpoint base with square platform foot with cast metal openwork floral design at base of stem which leads to four arm spider and two socket cluster. Square platform foot has brass finish while rest of metal base has pewter finish. Signed on underside “Pairpoint MFG Co.” along with Pairpoint logo and “B3066”. SIZE: Shade is 10″ w x 10-1/4″ l. Lamp is 20″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with wear to finish, one pull chain is missing. Re-wired with contemporary plastic cord. 50361-29 (2,500-3,500) – Lot 1334
