*COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER WITH CHECKERED HARD RUBBER GRIPS WITH COLT MEDALLIONS.

SN 334498. Cal. 32 WCF. 4-3/4″ bbl, blue and case colored finish, hard rubber grips with Colt Medallions. 2-line bbl address, low profile sight which is correct for this model, cal marking on left side of bbl, Colt patent mark and “Rampant Colt” on left side of frame, SNs on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and grips all match. Last three digits of SN on rear face of cylinder. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: Good. Bbl retains 20-30% dull blue finish with some pitting on left side toward muzzle and on right side above ejector rod housing. Bbl address and cal mark are sharp. Ejector rod housing retains 10% blue with a gray-brown patina overall. Bore is dark with traces of rifling. Frame has silvered-out case color with staining and some pitting on front of frame. Small scratch marks on left side near hammer screw. Screws retain some factory blue. Patent date and Rampant Colt are sharp. Hammer shows traces of case color in a mottled brown patina. Trigger shows traces of blue. Backstrap and trigger guard show 60% dull blue finish with some staining at bottom of backstrap. Cylinder retains 20-30% blue with some bright blue visible in flutes and a drag mark around rear of cylinder. Chambers are dark. Grips are very good with sharp checkering and clear numbers. Action is jammed but can be repaired. Manufactured in 1916. A good Colt Single Action for the entry level collector. 50019-208 TEP C&R (1,000-1,500) – Lot 1334
