*VERY FINE GERMAN PERCUSSION, DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN.

SN NSN. Cal. 16ga. Beautifully restored “A. Muller Saalfeld” marked 16 ga shotgun. Adolph Muller is a listed gunsmith from Saalfeld, Germany from the mid-late 19th Century. This gun is beautifully carved, checkered with silver pins and silver plated mounts which are engraved as is the lock with panel scenes of dogs and trigger guard with a goose. CONDITION: Fine to very fine overall. Metal is grey/brown with large areas of thinning, orig brown. Trigger guard, buttplate and ramrod thimbles retain most all of their silver plate, most likely refinished. Stock is sound, solid, retaining virtually all of its bright, re-varnished finish. Bone tipped wood ramrod. Mechanically fine with smooth bores with pitting. 50507-21 JS (1,000-1,500) – Lot 1330
