*COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER WITH CHECKERED HARD RUBBER GRIPS WITH COLT MEDALLIONS.

SN 349156. Cal. 32 WCF. 4-3/4″ bbl, blue and case colored finish, checkered hard rubber grips with Colt Medallions. Standard 2-line bbl address. Cal marking on left side of bbl. Colt patent mark with “Rampant Colt” on left side of frame. SNs on frame, backstrap, trigger guard, and grips all match. Last two digits of SN stamped on rear face of cylinder. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 70-80% bright blue finish with most of wear on left side toward muzzle. Front sight is correct profile for cal. Bbl address is sharp. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Frame retains 20% case color which is vivid in gullets at front of frame, and under loading gate. Screws are very good with 50% orig blue. Hammer retains 30% case color with some staining. Trigger is a plum patina with traces of fire blue. Back strap and trigger guard retain 30% blue finish in protected areas with balance turning to a pleasing plum-brown patina. Cylinder retains 30% blue with bright blue in flutes, Cylinder has a slight drag mark and some abrasion at rear of cylinder. Chambers are frosty. Grips are very good with sharp checkering and clear numbers. Action functions well. A very good Colt Single Action Army revolver in a caliber not usually seen in this period of time.
