HANDEL OBVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has white milk glass dome shade with green stylized floral decoration surrounding the shade and set against an orange background. Rim of shade is decorated with a band of red stylized flowers set against red background. Shade is signed on aperture ring “Handel Pat’d. No. 979664”. Shade rests on original Handel Oriental style base with openwork foot and incised design surrounding shoulder. Base has three socket cluster and pierced fleur-de-lis cap. Finished in rich brown patina with red highlights. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 23-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good to excellent. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. 50361-6 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 1319
