*COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER WITH CHECKERED HARD RUBBER GRIPS AND COLT MEDALLIONS.

SN 297744. Cal. 41 Colt. 4-3/4″ bbl, blue and case colored finish, checkered hard rubber grips with Colt medallions. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 70% bright blue with most of wear on left front side, some wear on right side near sight and bbl address. Bbl address and cal markings are sharp. Bore is good with some staining. Ejector rod has 50% blue with wear on outer edge toward front. Frame retains 40-50% dull case color with brilliant color at front of frame and near hammer. Screws are good with 50% blue. Hammer has 50% case color. Trigger has 50% fire blue. Trigger guard and backstrap retain 70% bright blue finish with some staining of forestrap and backstrap. Cylinder retains 40% blue with a slight drag mark and some wear and abrasion at front of cylinder. Grips are very good with sharp checkering and clearly marked number. Action is good. Manufactured in 1907. A very nice example of a Colt Single Action Army in a popular bbl length and cal. 50019-163 TEP C&R (2,500-3,500) – Lot 1318
