HANDEL 6688 TABLE LAMP.Handel table lamp has reverse painted 6688 shade with pink, yellow and red flowers extending from bottom rim to aperture against subtle shadowy leaf background. Four orange, yellow and black butterflies hover among the flowers. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on inside rim “Handel 6688”. Shade rests on an original Handel tree trunk base with three socket cluster, acorn pulls and pierced fleur-de-lis heat cap. Base is finished with deep brown patina. Signed on underside in raised block letters “Handel” what appears to be “5389”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 25″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade very good to excellent. Base is very good to excellent with some minor wear and discoloration to patina. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. 50361-9 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 1314
