HANDEL VENETIAN HARBOR TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has domed shade with reverse painted Venetian harbor scene depicting sail boats in a harbor with brightly colored sails and gondola passing through with Venetian buildings in background, all against yellow, blue and pink sky. Signed on interior “Handel 5935”. Shades rest on original Handel base with bulbous body cast with large stylized leaves and buds, topped with three socket cluster, each with acorn pulls. Base retains original pierced fleur-de-lis cap, all with dark brown patina. Signed on underside with impressed block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 22-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Brian Bojesen. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with some wear and blistering to patina.
