SN 71579. Cal. 28 ga. 2-3/4″ Cham. (opened from 2-1/2″). 26″ bbls, choked Mod/Full, marked “THE KNOCK-ABOUT GUN / VON LENGEKE & DETMOLD, NEW-YORK”. Case colored boxlock action with minimal engraving and model/importer on sideplates. Greener type crossbolt, double trigger, auto ejector. Fully figures European walnut, splinter forend, semi pistol grip, 14-1/2″ LOP over leather covered pad. 5 lbs, 5 oz. CONDITION: Good. Bbl has numerous marks and rubs from use and area of light moderate pitting at muzzle which has been cleaned. Receiver case colors have been properly enhanced with torch. Wood finish recently restored. Forend with repaired crack near tip. Stock has repaired crack at top tang that does not flex.
