*PRE-WW II COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER.

SN 354792. Cal. 45 Colt. Blue & color case hardened with 7-1/2″ bbl, full front sight, 1-line address with model & Cal. marking on left side. Left side of frame has 2-line, 3-patent dates & Rampant Colt without a circle. Mounted with matching numbered Rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Manufactured about 1932. PROVENANCE: The Brad Shepherd Collection. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching including cyl & grips. Bbl retains about 90-92% strong, bright, orig blue with small spots of fine pitting, primarily on left side. Ejector housing retains about 85% orig blue. Frame retains 35-40% bright case colors in the sheltered areas with the balance fading to a mottled silver/brown patina. Hammer retains about all of its orig case colors, faded on top edge. Trigger guard & backstrap retain most of their orig blue with some age spotting on the backstrap. Cyl retains about 90% orig blue. Hammer is not solid in safety notch, otherwise mechanics are crisp.
