SN 2245. 12 ga. 28″ bbls of Nickel Compound steel with hand matted solid rib. 2-3/4″ chambers and marked “12-70” on water table. Fixed 1/4 & FULL chokes. Coin finished sidelock action, floorplate has retailer marking of “L. Christophe A Bruxelles”. Full coverage rose and floral scroll engraving signed by master engraver “M. Hannay”. Dbl triggers, front trigger is articulated. Splinter, forearm and straight hand stock of fancy thin shell walnut with hand checkering. Forearm has brass inlaid initials. LOP: 15″ to checkered butt. Drop at comb: 1-5/8″; drop at heel: 2-5/8″. Leather covered case has previous owner’s name on lid. Burgundy velour fitted interior contains oil bottle, snap caps, patch jag and key. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Bbls have very good blackened finish showing a few light scratches and marks. Very good bright bores. Action has very good coin finish with top lever, trigger guard and other small parts having good blued finish.
