MT. WASHINGTON ROYAL FLEMISH PEG LAMP.

Royal Flemish two-part peg lamp is decorated in the Hedge Rose and Bulls-eye design, having burgundy and pink rose petals with pale green and pink leaves on burgundy thorny stems, all outlined in gilded trim and set against a clear satin background with royal blue bulls-eye medallions. Base is finished with gilded foot and gilded decoration on collar, and fitted with burner assembly marked “W&W Kosmos”, and clear glass chimney. An example of this lamp is pictured in Mt.Washington Art Glass by Betty Sisk, p179. Unsigned. SIZE: 20-1/4″ t. with chimney. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Mrs. Jackie & the late Dean Ballard. CONDITION: Base is very good to excellent. The wick mechanism has been removed from the burner unit and there is one metal finger missing from the burner fitter. 50421-32 (800-1,200) – Lot 1305
