17″ A. THULLIER (A.T.) FRENCH BEBE.

Considered by most doll collectors to be one of the most desirable and sought after of the French Bebes! A beautiful example, she is marked A.7 T. on the rear of her head and is on an unmarked 8-ball jointed straight wristed French composition body with a coil spring holding her bisque head onto the composition torso. Her pale bisque is further accentuated by her pale blue paperweight eyes with mauve shadowing adding the final accent to her face. Well defined facial features especially the soft outlined delicate mouth, it is easy to understand why these dolls tend to be the pinnacle of a doll connoisseurs collection! Dressed in an antique ribbed pink cotton dress with matching bonnet, vintage blonde mohair wig and antique brown leather shoes. A seldom found opportunity to acquire a classic French Bebe for one’s collection! SIZE: 17″ h. CONDITION: As described above, bisque appears to have no issues such as cheek rubs, hairlines, eye chips, etc. 1-15160 (25,000-35,000) – Lot 1304a
