SN 104424. Cal. 12 ga. 26-3/4″ bbls with hand matted vent rib having metal forearm guards. Fixed IC & MOD chokes. Chambers are lengthened to 3″, orig choke markings are “12-70”. Case colored sidelock action with cocking indicators. Full coverage rose and scroll engraving. Dbl triggers, front trigger is articulated. Auto ejectors. Trim forearm and round knob half pistol grip stock of exhibition quality walnut with hand checkering. LOP: 14-3/8″ over solid red pad. Housed in oak and leather case having brass corners and canvas cover. Contains gold washed oil bottle and snap caps with 2-pc wooden cleaning rod, with key. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Bbls have good orig blue with light edge wear and some fading. Good bright bores. Action retains most of its vivid case colors showing a small amount of edge wear. Forearm has very good refinish. Refinished stock has very good pinned and added wood repair of break on left side extending from top tang through sideplate area to trigger plate. Faux ivory bead sight.
