RARE BLACK BISQUE FASHION ATTRIBUTED TO BARROIS.

Wonderful black bisque socket with inset dark eyes, open mouth with four upper teeth, large up-turned nose, pierced earlobes with dangling earrings, with head attached to a separate shoulder plate which is on a black leather body, with gusset joints at elbows, hips and knees, with separately stitched fingers. She wears her original dark human hair wig over cork pate and is attractively costumed in a royal blue silk gown with long train in back, trimmed and covered in gauze lace to create the effect the look of an apron with matching high hat with two blue silk ribbons. In her arms she carries a bunting with two bisque babies. Apparently she has the role of the nursemaid to these children. SIZE: 15″ t (38cm). CONDITION: Excellent. 1-15120 (5,000-8,000) – Lot 1298
