Geertsen 1982″. 2) Abstract Composition In Yellow, Orange, Purple, And Blue, Silkscreen in colors on paper, Housed in a chrome frame, matted under glass, Signed in pencil indistinctly lower left and dated lower right 1984, bears inscription on verso in Danish dated 1995 SIZE: 1) 10-3/4″ x 8-3/4″. Overall 11-1/2″ x 9-1/2″. 2) Plate 7-1/2″ x 7”. Overall 12″ x 10-1/4″ PROVENANCE: Downeast Maine home, descendant of Knud Rasmussen, famous Danish arctic explorer whose “greatest achievement” was the massive Fifth Thule Expedition (1921–1924) being sold unreserved.
