SN 394345. Cal. 12 ga. Holland & Holland style sidelock action featuring side clips, cocking indicators, ejectors and having case colored finish. Full coverage rose and scroll engraving. Dbl triggers, front trigger is articulated. First bbl marked with gold #1 on solid rib, is 28″ of chrome steel. CYL & IMP-CYL fixed chokes. Second bbl marked with gold #2 with solid rib, is 28″ of chrome steel. IMP-CYL & IMP-MOD fixed chokes. Under rib has plug screws in holes for sling attachment. Both bbls have 2-3/4″ chambers as marked on water tables. Date codes on bbls indicate 1972 mfg. Splinter forearm and straight hand stock of fancy thin shell walnut with hand checkering. LOP: 14-5/8″ to checkered butt. Housed in a leather covered two-bbl luggage case with maker’s label. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Both sets of bbls have good orig blue with light muzzle wear and a few scattered marks. Both have good bright bores.
