MT. WASHINGTON ROYAL FLEMISH ARABIAN VASE.

Mt. Washington Royal Flemish handled vase, shape #305, is beautifully decorated with an Arab scene with one Arab riding on top of a camel while another walks alongside, showing pyramids in the background and stars in the sky. Backside of vase is decorated with medallions of middle-eastern influence against burgundy, lavender and gold panels. A similar example is shown in the book Mt. Washington Art Glass by Betty Sisk, pg. 188. Unsigned. SIZE: 13-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Mrs. Jackie & the late Dean Ballard. CONDITION: Very good with several tiny losses to gilded lines on the body of the vase and minor wear to gilding on upper rim and foot. Vase has been drilled. 50421-20 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 1295
