SN 292527. Cal. 12 ga. Bbl #1: 26-1/2″ chrome nickel steel with vent rib. Rib has gold inlaid “1”. Fixed IMP-CYL & IMP-MOD chokes. 2-3/4″ chamber as marked. Bbl #2: 30″ chrome nickel steel with vent rib. Rib has gold inlaid “2”. Fixed MOD & FULL chokes. 2-3/4″ chambers as marked. Satin nickel finished Merkel style hand detachable sidelock action with cross bolt and cocking indicators. Full coverage deep relief game scene engraving featuring pheasants on right lockplate and mallard on left lockplate surrounded by arabesque scroll. Dbl triggers, front trigger is articulated with auto ejectors. 3-pc checkered walnut forearm. Pistol grip walnut stock with relief with hand checkering carved transition between pistol grip and toe line. LOP: 14-3/8″ over orig AYA red ventilated pad. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″. Weight with 26-1/2″ bbls: 7lb 8.6oz. Date codes on bbls indicate 1968 mfg. Housed in maker’s leather covered 2-bbl case with green felt interior. CONDITION: Bbl #1 retains most of orig blue and has very good bright bores. Bbl #2 has good orig blue showing small dent on right side of rib and has very good bores.
