MT. WASHINGTON ROYAL FLEMISH PEACOCK VASE.

Royal Flemish vase, shape #594, is beautifully decorated with gold branches, leaves and flowers, with a perched peacock bird with gilded trim. Vase is further decorated with beaded details on the peacock tail-feathers, eye and head feathers, as well as beaded centers in the flower blossoms. Neck of the vase is decorated with gilded decoration over a rich purple background. There is no stopper with the vase. Similar vase pictured in Mt.Washington Art Glass by Betty Sisk, p174; and Nineteenth Century Glass by A.C. Revi, p78. Signed with “RF” and “594” on underside. SIZE: 13″ t.
