Oil on canvas Housed in a replacement modern black & gold molded wood frame Unsigned NOTE: This painting depicts a stag hunt at full cry. The figures are painting in similar costumes to three other paintings which are all a part of a set of four paintings depicting aspects of a stag hunt. This work is thought to have been executed once he arrived in England to do work for the Duke of Lauderdale in Ham House. SIZE: 41″ x 57″. Overall: 45″ x 61-1/2″ CONDITION: Lined, restored with inpainting. Good 50807-14 (8,000-12,000) – Lot 1289
