BEAUTIFUL FRENCH FASHION DOLL ATTRIBUTED TO JUMEAU.

Unmarked bisque socket head with huge pale blue threaded paperweight eyes, applied ears, closed mouth, with blond eyebrows and multi stroke painted lashes, on separate bisque shoulder plate which is attached to a narrow waist cloth body with sewn joints at hips and knees and having leather forearms and separately stitched fingers. Doll appears to be all original with an elaborate mohair wig in braids and tiny curls in front, and wearing original two piece pale blue 1870s era cotton dress with blue silk ribbon and lace trim. All undergarment and stockings are original as well as pale blue leather slippers with low heal and pointed toes. SIZE: 28-1/2″ t (72cm).
