SN 6048. Cal. 38. Very fine ’62 conversion with most desirable 6-1/2″ bbl, all matching, complete and original with loads of original finish. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Very fine overall. Bright blue finish found in protected areas on bbl and cylinder with balance a fairly even plum. Hammer and frame have strong traces of bright case colors, overall muted case turning to smooth silver/gray. Well fit grips retain 98% original factory varnish with moderate edge wear.
